Does Medicare pay for Assisted Living Facility
No Medicare does not pay for Assisted Living Facility. The usual form of payments are private pay (social security), long term care, and Medicaid.
Can my family member age in place in an assisted living.
Most of the time depending on the level of care the family member needs, yes a resident can age in place with a standard license with hospice care as long as the facility can meet the needs.
